Symbio launches game-changing Voice migration tool

Symbio has launched a new automated Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Migration Tool that is designed to migrate voice customers faster and more efficiently. Developed in collaboration with Sampli AI, the tool is one of the first of its kind in Australia.

The tool is an automated, white-label, API-integrated migration platform that enables transitions between reputable PBX systems while maintaining real-time human oversight, with separation between wholesalers, resellers and end customers. Beyond migration, the capability also serves as a customer onboarding and operational management engine, helping providers standardise how voice services are deployed and managed.

Combining Symbio's telecommunications scale, wholesale reach and platform expertise with Sampli AI's expertise in artificial intelligence, automation and operational transformation, the partnership has focused on solving one of the industry's most persistent operational challenges: migrating voice customers accurately, efficiently and at scale.

Activities traditionally requiring weeks or months of planning, provisioning and manual configuration can be completed using the platform in as little as 5 to 15 minutes, translating to a 70-90% reduction in migration effort and delivery timeframes.

For Symbio, faster migration supports platform standardisation, operational efficiency and service innovation. For wholesale partners, it reduces complexity, accelerates onboarding and provides a faster pathway to modern communications services.

The platform is being further developed to support a broader range of PBX andUnified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) environments over time, creating a scalable migration framework for future industry adoption.
